'Creativity Flows' by Louise Tolcher-Goldwyn
I am an arts educator and artist.
Has lockdown changed you? How? Why?
I have become braver in exposing my work to others. I have shared very personal drawings and scribbles online, which I’ve never done before. I became less self conscious about my work and just took time to enjoy the creative process.
What made you smile or brought you joy in lockdown? Can you explain it...
I have seeing the flurry of creativity online. Non-professional artists and exploring ideas, techniques and mediums. I have been very inspired to create my own work.
Have you changed since lockdown? Tell me why?
I always thought my ideal working environment would be home! In my own space comfortable and productive. I soon discovered that infact I need to go out to work, to meet colleagues, to share ideas and be a part of a team.
What is the story behind your hand art? (Could be what you used, the colours, symbols, place, person, memories, inspired by etc.)
Creatively seemed to flow easily in lockdown, so the threads in pinks and browns that flow from my transparent hand represents this. The tote bag is a container to collect thoughts, ideas and work of the creative online family.
