'Dal fy llaw' by Danielle Rowlands
I am a Mum to 3 lovely small people.
Has lockdown changed you? How? Why?
In some ways yes. More introspective. Less assured. There are so many uncertainties.
What made you smile or brought you joy in lockdown? Can you explain it?
The resilience of my children and their joy of being in the moment! Spaces and Horizons. We found a very quiet walk filled with nature and we all took time to play and explore. This time was really precious!
Have you changed since lockdown? Tell me why.
I feel in equal measure weaker and stronger. My certainties and routines all disappeared and I had to reset.
What is the story behind your hand art?
I have found lockdown hard. Normally we are a social busy and active family- then it all stopped. I loved the time I spent just with my little family unit, But being on furlough and disconnected from a job I really enjoy and physically isolated from people I love has been difficult. I have used this project to connect with the family and friends and we are sharing a creative moment together. On zoom, Skype, FaceTime! Hold my hand as we face this together.
Is there anything else you would like to share?
Doing this has been really lovely as i feel I have reached my hand out to those I love and they in turn have taken hold and together we move forward.
