'Images remembered from lockdown'

'I’ve been shielding, so I’ve been seperated from family and friends for a long time.

Looking back Covid time is peppered by memories of what I’ve seen on my walks- butterflies and ladybirds, hairy caterpillars, wildflowers, lichens on trees, woodpeckers drumming, herons standing motionless, murmurations of starlings swirling around the lake before diving into the reeds. I suppose I drew a hug from nature when I can’t be that close to people because of the virus.'
